A do-not-resuscitate order, or DNR order, is a medical order written by a doctor. In this course the learner will be able to comprehend on the national DNR policy and will be able to discuss DNR with his patients using one of the standardized steps.
1. Recognize the presence of national DNR policy
2.Able to apply the national DNR policy in his practice
3. Will be introduced to at least 3 different approaches to discuss DNR with patients or families.
4.Observe a bad and good example of DNR discussion and discuss ways to improve DNR discussion with patients.
